Parris Rice, Danielle Long and Samantha Bayer all have big plans for this coming year. Each of them will be moving far from home and beginning their college careers. In addition, each of these college-bound girls will start the new adventure of competing on a collegiate equestrian team. Big changes and big futures are in store for these AQHYA members.

Larry Sanchez, the Oklahoma State University equestrian team head coach, travels to various large shows to recruit riders. He has several attributes that he looks for in a potential team member and gives advice on what mindset to have when joining a collegiate equestrian team.

Many youth members have gained invaluable experience through showing on the AQHYA circuit. AQHA is so proud of all of its youth members and wishes them all the best of luck with their future endeavors.
