 Registration is required for all attendees and provides admission to the following:

  • The President's Reception
  • Three continental breakfasts
  • Open committee and general membership meetings

CONVENTION INFORMATION

REGISTRATION

Convention attendees must register at the $100 fee to secure a name badge for admittance to committee meetings, membership general meetings, social events and continental breakfasts. The $100 fee does NOT include tickets to the Awards or Hall of Fame banquets; evening banquet tickets must be purchased individually at a cost of $75 each.

PREREGISTER

Register by completing the registration form and submitting it, along with your payment, to AQHA Convention. You can also  fax it with the proper American Express, Visa or MasterCard information to (806) 349-6409. AQHA will accept checks, money orders, American Express, MasterCard or Visa. For those who preregister, your tickets and badges will be held at the AQHA Registration Desk at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida.

You are encouraged to preregister to take advantage of the discounted ticket prices. Registration fees will be assessed according to postmarks. On-site registration fees become effective February 1. Tickets for the Awards and Hall of Fame banquets will be sold on-site on a space-available basis only.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Refunds will be given for registrations cancelled prior to February 13 with a $25 service charge assessed on each cancelled registration. All cancellation requests must be in writing and sent t

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Hotel reservations can be made by contacting the Gaylord Palms Resort, Kissimmee, Florida at (407) 586-2000. Rates are Run of House Single/Double $222; Emerald Bay $242; Executive Suite $350; Deluxe Suite  $450. To receive these rates, you must specify you are attending the AQHA Convention, and reservations must be made by February 10. Reservations received after February 10 will be on a space-available basis only. All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and subject to state and local taxes.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

Most major airlines fly into Orlando International Airport, which is just 30 minutes from Kissimmee.

Airport Shuttle Vans are available, and the cost is approximately $26 per person one way to hotels; $45 round trip per person. Taxi cabs are also available with fares to Gaylord Palms Resort costing approximately $45 per taxicab.
