AQHA REGIONAL EXPERIENCE
DAY 1 JUNE 5, 2008

The first day of the Region Seven Regional Experience showcased cutting, reining and working cow horse. AQHA Professional Horseman Tommy Sheets also conducted a trail clinic.

Chelsie Ellingboe of Las Vegas and 2003 sorrel gelding LP Player practice their reining spins the first morning of the Regional Experience.Practice must have made perfect because Chelsie and "Player" took home the Montana Silversmiths buckle in the novice youth reining class.Tiffany Montgomery of Bountiful, Utah, and 5-year-old dun stallion A Hollywood Jester, by Hesa Sonofa Dun, relax after their turn in the novice amateur reining.
A mom and her daughter take time out to shop for a little bit of "bling."AQHA Professional Horseman Tommy Sheets of New Albany, Indiana, used most of his clinic to emphasize the importance of perfecting the "slower" parts of trail -- gates, bridges and back-throughs.Zoom Zoom, whose human companion is AQHA Professional Horsewoman Sandy Arledge of Rancho Santa Fe, California, takes in the action at the trail clinic.
