NEBRASKAN ELECTED TO
AQHA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

America’s Horse, March 9, 2009 – The newest member of the American Quarter Horse Association Executive Committee is Gene Graves of Grand Island, Nebraska.

Graves was elected to the Executive Committee during the Association’s board of directors luncheon on Monday, March 9 in San Antonio. A director from Nebraska, Graves has served on numerous committees and was most recently vice chairman of the nominations and credentials committee.

A 1959 graduate of Midland College, and a 1969 master’s of science graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Graves is the retired president of Bosselman Inc., and ranches full time under the ranch name Diamond G Enterprises LLC. He is a member of Rotary International; Nebraska Diplomats; Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse, Kansas Quarter Horse, Texas Quarter Horse, Nebraska Thoroughbred Breeders and the National Snaffle Bit associations.

Gene’s wife, Barbara, shows in western riding, showmanship, halter, western pleasure and western horsemanship. Barbara was also featured in the American Quarter Horse Foundation’s “One Donor” advertising campaign.
