AQHA's Ride Program began in 1997 and annually hosts nearly 100 rides around the world. If you have a horse, you're welcome to participate! A portion of the proceeds benefit the American Quarter Horse Foundation and a local charity selected by the host affiliates.

The Ride Program, sponsored by B&W Hitches, offers a variety of rate packages. Call the AQHA Ride Hotline at (888) 414-RIDE for more information about an AQHA Ride Program event near you.

SUGGESTIONS FOR THE RIDE:

• Ride a horse suitable to your skill level
• Stay with the group on the designated trail
• Always be aware of your surroundings
• Be kind to the environment

• Bring or wear hats and sunscreen to prevent heat exhaustion or sun stroke
• Check all tack and equipment before leaving home and before starting on the trail
• Safety helmet use is an individual and parental decision
