FEES: $45 per rider
Fee includes drinks, snacks and meal. The Ride will be limited to 100 riders, and the deadline to register is April 18, 2008.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS/FEE: Camper hook-ups and horse stalls available at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Amarillo for an additional fee. This is the location where the Region 8 Experience will be held.
BACKGROUND: Originally part of the famous Goodnight “JA” Ranch, the Salt Fork Ranch straddles the beautiful Salt Fork of the Red River. With more than 22,000 acres of a real working Texas cattle ranch to explore, participants will take part in a lifetime experience in the Panhandle Plains. Salt Fork Ranch is owned by Gary and J’Melle Fletcher and their families.
ITINERARY: Registration is between 8-9 a.m. with the ride leaving base camp at 10 a.m. Ride will return around 3 p.m. followed by a Curt Pate demonstration. Dinner served between 4-5 p.m.
DIRECTIONS: The ranch is located 47 miles south/east of Amarillo, Texas, on Highway 287 between Claude and Clarendon.

STALLS AVAILABLE: Located at the Amarillo Tri-County Fairgrounds.
FACILITIES AVAILABLE: Located at the Amarillo Tri-County Fairgrounds.
HORSE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Negative Coggins and 30-day health certificate must be presented upon check-in.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: All AQHA Trail Rules apply, in addition to Salt Fork Ranch Rules.
