SUSSEX COUNTY, NEW JERSEY HOST AFFILIATE: New Jersey Quarter Horse Association DATE: September 13-14, 2008 LOCATION: Lusscroft Farm, Sussex County, NJ FEES: $125 weekend rate per person DAILY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: In 1914, James Turner, a Montclair stockbroker, invested $500,000 to invent Lusscroft into a model dairy farm. He employed the most innovative practices based on scientific research of the time. Twenty-three buildings are still on the property including the Turner Mansion, the manager’s dwelling and dairy barn.
