AQHA RIDE PROGRAM

MILTON MILLS, NEW HAMPSHIRE

HOST AFFILIATE:  New Hampshire Quarter Horse Association

DATE:  September 14, 2008 (rain date – October 26)

LOCATION:  Branch Hill Farm, Milton Mills, NH

FEES:  $30 per person
Fee includes both parts of educational meeting with a light lunch and Ride. Ride is limited to 75 riders. No refunds.                                  

BACKGROUND: This is a new recreational activity where riders will learn how to “Ride with the Hounds.” This is the second part of a two part educational experience. Part two will consist of a hunt with the hounds. This event is made possible by the generosity of the Carl Siemon Family Charitable Trust, Piscataqua Hounds and MFH, Cheryl Bucklin-Niles. The hunt will be split into rider and horse abilities.

ITINERARY:  The event will start at 10 a.m. with a blessing of the hounds, lunch, social and raffle drawing to support the youth programs of NHQHA.  

DIRECTIONS:  Branch Hill Farm is located at 307 Applebee Road.

RENTAL HORSES:  No     

STALLS AVAILABLE:  No

FACILITIES AVAILABLE:  Portable restrooms only. Water is not available at the site. Please supply own water for horses.

HORSE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Negative Coggins must be presented upon check-in.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  All AQHA Trail Rules apply, in addition to Branch Hill Farm and Piscataqua Hounds Assoication Trail Rules.
