May 8-11, exhibitors from throughout Region 8 gathered in Amarillo for the first of 11 Regional Experiences of 2008. Here are more images from Region 8.

Anne Bradley showed Chocs Two Step in select showmanship, hunter under saddle and equitation. They earned second place in select hunter under saddle.Craig Cole (left) showed 10-year-old gelding Holliday Red in novice amateur reining and senior reining. The duo is from Downs, Kansas.
Kadra Dunlap showed 14-year-old mare Lacey Cue Country in novice amateur western pleasure, western riding, horsemanship, trail and reining.  "This is my little world show," the Grant, Oklahoma, native said.At her first Regional Experience, West Texas A&M student Sarah Ferguson showed Zippos A Fox in novice youth showmanship, hunter under saddle and horsemanship.
Jackie Thomison showed Cee Booger Heat in novice amateur and select reining. Her husband, Arnie Thomison, made all the tooling on Jackie's chaps. They are from Copan, Oklahoma.Huntin For A Minute warms up before his shot at novice youth showmanship, equitation and hunter under saddle. The 4-year-old gelding is owned by Jessica Jarvis, a sophomore at Texas Tech.
Julie Dinse enjoys her first Regional Experience with 14-year-old gelding Roses Moses, "the love of my life." The pair showed in select equitation, horsemanship, trail, showmanship and western riding. They are from Bandera, Texas.Six-year-old mare Jessies Got A Dollar is owned by Leta Guyer of MacAllister, Oklahoma and was showin in senior reining. She is trained by AQHA Professional Horseman Bill Arands.
