REGION ONE EXPERIENCE

DAY FIVE, JULY 27, 2008

BY TONYA RATLIFF-GARRISON, FIELD EDITOR

It might have been the last day of the Region One Experience but that didn't mean there wasn't plenty going on. The day started with open halter before moving into western riding and then horsemanship. Finishing out the show was western pleasure. There were also plenty of clinics still happening. Carolyn Rice talked about horsemanship while Joe Smith gave tips on western pleasure and Dan Fowler taught participants how to braid rawhide and make tack. By the end of the day seven all-around champions were named. That was until the Region One Experience when she brought her horse, Zippin Through Town. They did well, placing in several classes.
