Top American Quarter Horses take center stage at the National Western Stock Show in Denver on January 15-17, 2009! The qualifying period runs now through October 31, 2008.  Horses need to earn four points to qualify in the open division and Amateur riders need to earn one point before the end of the qualifying period. RECAP OF THE 2008 FORT DODGE VERSATILITY RANCH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS The inaugural Fort Dodge American Quarter Horse Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships took place at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, January 16-17, 2008. The event crowned the first open and amateur world champions of versatility ranch horse competition. Fort Dodge Animal Health, the official equine vaccine manufacturer of AQHA and a corporate partner since 2005, is the title sponsor of this event.
