| Broker Of Record, out of 1988 Superhorse One For The Record, won three world championships at this year's show. What do Popular Resortfigure, One For The Record, With All Probability, Rugged Lark and his son, Look Whos Larkin, all have in common?
Beside their Superhorse titles, they all have offspring competing in the FedEx Open Week of the 2008 AQHA World Championship Show.
Fantaz Popularresort, by Popular Resortfigure, was in junior tie-down roping. Another son and 2008 Superhorse contender, Vegas Resort, competed in junior heading, heeling and tie-down roping.
With All Probability (aka “Ticket”) had a slew of get in the roping events, as did Look Whos Larkin.
Ticket had offspring in junior heeling – Probably All Dun and Probably A Colonel. Shes Got Probability and Ive Got Probability, both by Ticket, were in junior heading; plus another daughter, Shortys Probability, was in both junior heeling and heading.
Ticket To Starfire is also aSuperhorse contender this year; he ran in senior heeling and heading. So did Look Whos Primo, who is by, you guessed it – Look Whos Larkin.
Another Look Whos Larkin baby, Whos Miss Larkin, ran in junior heading while Larkins Express competed in junior heeling. Larkins Primo Doc made appearances in both. During the Bank of America Amateur Week Ima Larkin nabbed the world championship in heeling. In the green working hunter finals, Larks Happy Days, by two-time Superhorse Rugged Lark, competed against Broker Of Record, out of 1988 Superhorse One For The Record. Broker Of Record took the world championship in not only the green working hunter but also the junior. He went on to win junior hunter hack.
There’s no doubt about it – Superhorse talent is often in the genes, it seems. If we missed a son or daughter of a former Superhorse competing at this year’s World Show, let us know at jrnlintern@aqha.org. | |
