Object Not Found. Please verify that the object you are linking to exists.Mr Sinatra’s charm took him all the way to a world championship in amateur 3-year-old stallions, beating 18 other competitors.
By Sierras Black Gold and out of The Obvious Winner by Obvious Conclusion, Mr Sinatra made his third trip to the World Show after qualifying in open halter in 2003 as a yearling and in 2004 as a 2-year-old.
“He’s been really good to work with,” said owner/exhibitor Mona Mischi of Howell, Michigan. “It’s almost like he’s programmed.”
Mischi bought Mr Sinatra as a yearling and knew right away that he would do well in the show arena.
“I always thought there was something special about him,” she said. “I think his conformation is wonderful.”

Mischi looked a little overwhelmed as she left the arena carrying her gold trophy, but that’s understandable for someone showing in the State Fair Park Coliseum for the first time.
“It’s been wonderful,” she said. “This is my first time showing at the World ever.”
Before his 2005 World Show success, Mr Sinatra won amateur and open Registers of Merit and in October he won the 2002 stallion class at the All American Quarter Horse Congress with trainer Tom Robertson at the lead.
“He’s been really good in the show ring,” she said, “He has numerous grand champions and a Superior. He can be feisty at times, but normally he’s laid back.”
After the World Show, Mischi plans to continue Mr Sinatra’s career at stud. Mischi is still waiting to see his first crop of foals.
“He bred a little last year as a trial,” she said. “But he’s going back into breeding next year.”
