Alisa Bernhard made a clean jump into the amateur working hunter winner's circle with her brown mare, Keepin The Image.

The pair took home their first 2005 world championship earlier in the week in the amateur hunter hack, and increased their world titles to three amateur world championships and four AQHYA world championships. Bernhard has been showing “Silky” since 1997.

“It’s been one of the better runs she has given me in a while,” Bernhard said. “She has got the experience now that she has become very consistent. She has just felt great this entire show.”

Bernhard and Silky make their
final jump to secure their
world championship.
Bernhard and Silky have been seeing gold so far at the 2005 World Show, and they will make their run at the senior working hunter during open week.

“We will be competing against all the professionals, so I’m a little nervous. But I just hope we go out there and make a smooth run,” she said.

Bernhard has been showing Silky for the past eight years, but plans to slow down a little with her next year.

“I’m still going to show her because she’s in great shape, but just enough to get her qualified for the World Show,” she said. “Hopefully, we’ll get back here and do just as good next year.”

Bernhard and Silky will make their run at another world championship starting in the senior working hunterprelims on Tuesday, November 15.
