Charles and Jeannie Pircher’s Tribute To Pizzazz won back-to-back world championships with his win in 3-year-old geldings on November 18. AQHA Pro Horseman Luke Castle of Wayne, Oklahoma, fit the horse and led him through the ring.

“He’s got a lot of personality,” Luke said of the horse they call “Mister Mister.” “He’s a neat horse to show; he’s always fired up. He’s got a lot of muscle to him packed in there tight. He’s a nice, nice horse.”

Charles and Jeannie Pircher's Tribute To Pizzazz won the 2006 world championship in 3-year-old geldings. AQHA Pro Horseman Luke Castle of Wayne, Oklahoma, led him.
By Misters Pizzazz and out of No Flack From You by Mr Conclusion, the Pirchers bought Mister Mister in May 2005. He earned amateur and open Registers of Merit in 2005 and won the world championship in 2-year-old geldings. The Pirchers’ son, Chance, placed fifth with the horse at the 2006 Ford AQHYA World Championship Show.

“We’re going to continue to show him if we don’t sell him,” Luke said. “And keep trying to get those gold trophies with him.”

Luke explained the gelding’s nickname.

“It’s kind of what he acts like, a rock band when he comes to town,” he said with a smile. “He’ll kick up and jump up on his back feet. He likes to show. But he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.”

The Pirchers own Paradise River Paints and Quarter Horses in Rio Medina, Texas, and stand halter and pleasure stallions.

“My youngest daughter had a little disability, and she got to doing therapeutic riding, and we kind of got back into horses,” Charles said. “My wife and I both grew up around them. One thing led to another, and we’ve got a whole bunch of them now.

“Our pleasure stallion is doing real good producing, and we have a halter stallion that we’re getting a first crop (from) this next year, and we’ll see how that is,” he added.

What are your long-term goals for the farm?

“We’re pretty much doing them right now,” Charles said. “We fit new ones every year and keep coming back up here and competing.”
