| Jennifer Fritz posses with "Parks Noble Pudden" |
When Jennifer Fritz, 18, of Fort Pierce, Florida, bought “Parks Noble Pudden” aka Noble she had no idea that he would become so attached to her.
Just how attached is Noble to Jennifer? Well the truth is that Noble will not let anyone other than Jennifer ride him. If someone other than Jennifer tries to ride him he will buck them off.
“He has a big connection with me” Jennifer said.
Jennifer realized that Noble was attached to her when he began trying to get out of his stall at shows by rearing up whenever Jennifer or other horses were not around. One time Noble almost caught his foot in the bars of the stall. Jennifer found the best way to keep Noble calm was to sit in front of his stall with a longe line on him and the door wide open, so he did not feel like he was all alone.
“He can’t travel without me, he freaks out without me.” Everywhere Noble goes Jennifer has to go too.
Jennifer holds up her end of the deal by acting as Noble’s security blanket, and most of the time he holds up his end too, by doing his best. This week is the team’s first time here at the Ford AQHYA World Championship Show. They will be competing in equitation over fences, working hunter, and english equitation.
Jennifer enjoys knowing that her horse depends on her so much, but being his security blanket can be a lot of work.
