Tyler O’Neal finally got his chance to step into the coliseum on the morning of the final day of the 2008 Youth World Championship Show. Tyler led his 2-year-old gelding, Won And Only Fella, through a lineup of 16 horses and walked out of the arena at the head of the line with a gold trophy in one hand and lead in the other. All smiles as he was congratulated by friends and family, Tyler was happy to take a few minutes to answer the Journal’s questions about his world champion gelding. Q: Tell me about your horse.
He’s a nice horse. We went out there and he showed to the best of his ability. Thank God.
Q: What is his personality?
He’s by Mr Yella Fella and out of a Noble Tradition mare. His personality is great; he’s fun to be with. He shows great, and he’s a good horse.
Q: Did you have any obstacles getting to this point?
Yes, ma’am, we had a lot of obstacles and we just have to go through them and act like they don’t bother us.
Q: How long have you had your horse?
Two years.
Q: What are your plans for him now?
Show him 'til he can’t show no more! (he said with a smile).

Tyler O'Neal and Won And Only Fella won the 2008 Ford Youth World championship in 2-year-old geldings.
Q: Who is your trainer?
(AQHA Pro Horseman) Ted Turner.
Q: Who would you like to thank?
I’d like to thank Ted Turner, Doyle Black, my family and God.
