Q: Tell us about your horse.
Shelby: He’s 17.2 and he’s black. He can be a big pain sometimes, but he’s pretty good.
Q: How is he a pain?
Shelby: He has his moments. He’s lazy. He doesn’t want to go. He wants to go to sleep. He wants to go eat. Stuff like that. But when he wants to do hunter under saddle, he’ll do it.
Q: Could you tell when you went in that it was going to be a good run?
Shelby: I don’t know. I didn’t know what would happen. Anything could happen.
