Q. Tell us about your mare.
Morgan: She’s a rope horse and I just recently started running barrels on her. I placed 15th in heading this year and I ran her in the barrels and poles, and then I won this. It’s great.
Q. When did you decide to start doing halter?
Morgan: (The mare's) sister won the amateur world last year with Bob Lines, and I knew that she was gorgeous, so I just got her Register of Merit.
Q. How long have you been riding her?
Morgan: For about two years now.

Q. What’s next for you?
Morgan: I hope next year to win the heading on her – that would be very nice. And maybe win the halter again.
