Following a hearing by the New Mexico Board of Stewards on Monday, October 11, Apollitical Daizies was disqualified from first and listed unplaced in the 2021, $439,991 All American Oaks, contested September 5 at Ruidoso Downs, due to a medication violation for the drug Dexamethasone (Class 4 Penalty C Drug) found in the test sample from the race.

Owner Victor Lozano and trainer Martin Orona Sr. appeared at the hearing with their attorney. Split sample rights, as provided in 15.2.6.10 (D) NMAC, afforded the trainer and owner were declined. No evidence was presented to disprove the findings.

The official order of finish and purse distribution for the All American Oaks are as follows:

2. HR Princess Jess
3. Hollyn Bootie
4. Miss Famous Eagle
5. Valiant Stars (DH)
5. La Jaconde (DH)
7. Jess Lyndes
8. In My Heart

Whistle Stop Cafe, the 2020 AQHA Racing World Champion, entered the race undefeated in nine career starts and was retired following the All American Oaks.

Once Equibase receives the ruling and updates its records, the daughter of Freighttrain B will end her career with a 10-for-10 record and earnings of $2,330,840, putting her second on the all-time leading money earners list, behind only Ochoa ($2,779,265). She is the No. 1 all-time leading money earning distaff Quarter Horse.

Owned by Whitmire Ranch, bred by Bobby D. Cox and trained by Blane Wood and Trey Wood, Whistle Stop Cafe won the All American Futurity (G1), Rainbow Futurity (G1), Rainbow Oaks, All American Oaks and Heritage Place Juvenile.

She is the first filly since Laico Bird in the 1967 to earn a world champion title as a 2-year-old.
