About the European Championship of American Quarter Horses
The first European Championship of American Quarter Horses was established in 1989. The event is hosted by the Federation of European Quarter Horse Associations, which brings together European Quarter Horse affiliates to advance the breed in Europe and now organizes the championship event for American Quarter Horses in Europe.

The European Championship is one of Europe’s major shows and premier American Quarter Horse events. In Kreuth, Germany, Europe’s best horses and riders meet to compete for prestigious championship titles. This is the perfect platform to celebrate the unique versatility of the American Quarter Horse among many countries. AQHA is proud to be a supporter of this event in 2022.
