AQHA West Level 1 Championships Kicks Off

The 2019 AQHA West Level 1 Championships got underway September 25 at the South Point Equestrian & Events Center in Las Vegas.

The 2019 AQHA West Level 1 Championships kicked off today in Las Vegas at the South Point Equestrian & Events Center. The show started at 8 a.m. with Rookie youth ranch riding in the South Point Arena and Rookie youth working hunter in the Priefert Pavilion.

The AQHA West Level 1 Championships, running September 25-29, offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen.

This year’s show will also feature walk-trot, Rookie and Level 1 classes. These levels of AQHA competition are designed for everyone from the beginner to the minimally accomplished competitors in AQHA competition, respectively.

The AQHA Central, AQHA West and Nutrena East Level 1 Championships are the pinnacle events for Level 1, Rookie and walk-trot competitors around the world. Level 1 cattle events and Rookie and Level 1 ranch riding were offered at the AQHA Level 1 Cattle Championships in June with the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
