Six Texas-bred sprinters, topped by morning-line favorite This Is A Deal Too, have been entered in Friday’s 400-yard, $25,000 B.F. Phillips Jr. Stakes (R) at Lone Star Park.

A homebred 4-year-old son of the Game Patriot stallion Dealagame, This Is A Deal Too is trained by Leon Bard for owner Pete A. Scarmardo. The gelding is coming off of a third-place finish, three-quarters of a length behind winner Damn Strait, in the 440-yard, $40,000 Downs Casino Stakes at Albuquerque Downs on October 26.

This Is A Deal Too drew post 4 and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon.
