The road to the Bank of America Racing Challenge Championships kicks off on January 1, as regional nomination payments are due.
New this year, in addition to the nomination payment, is a hair testing fee of $150.
The January 1 nomination payment of $400, plus the hair testing fee, is due for the Bank of America Rillito Championship Challenge. This $40,000-added race will be held in Tucson, Arizona, and has its sustaining payment due February 1, with trials (if necessary) on February 29 and the final on March 22.
Due on January 15 is nomination payments (plus hair testing fees) for:
- Bank of America Remington Championship Challenge (G2), $400 nomination
$60,000-added, February 15 (sustaining), March 14 (trials), March 22 (finals)
- John Deere Rillito Juvenile Challenge, $400 nomination
$30,000-added, February 15 (sustaining), March 1 (trials), March 21 (finals)
- AQHA Hipodromo Distaff Challenge, $400 nomination
$20,000-added, February 1 (sustaining), February 9 (trials), February 23 (finals)
