Shakers No Secret, a gray son of Five Bar Cartel racing for Abel Lopez, Ethan Lopez, and Manny Dutchover, earned his second Grade 1 victory in Sunday's $350,000 Championship at Sunland Park (G1) at Sunland Park Racetrack.

Prepped by Marc Jungers and ridden by Christian Ramos, Shakers No Secret covered 440 yards in :20.994, and his margin of victory was a neck from KJ Desparado. The gelding earned a 103 speed index while banking the $210,000 winner's share of the purse from his third career stakes score.

Shakers No Secret was making his season debut off of his third-place finish, 1 1/4 lengths behind winner Empressum, in the sport's richest race for older sprinters, the December 14, $600,000 Champion of Champions (G1) at Los Alamitos. The gelding was bred in Texas by Garlyn O. Shelton, and he was purchased by his owners for $14,000 at the 2021 Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City.

Shakers No Secret's 4-year-old campaign included a neck victory in the 440-yard, $278,000 AQHA Challenge Championship (G1) at Albuquerque Downs on October 26.

"He's just an impressive racehorse," said Jungers of Shakers No Secret. "He just gets better and better every race."

All told, Shakers No Secret has won 10 of his 29 races and has earned $712,414, of which $523,989 has been pocketed from 11 outs at the classic 440-yard trip.
