Live racing is returning to Douglas, Arizona.

Live horse racing is returning to the Cochise County Fairgrounds at Douglas, Arizona.

According to a recent report in the Douglas Dispatch, the racing facilities at the fair grounds have passed inspection from the Arizona Dept. of Gaming, and horses will be racing Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19.

"We are currently in the process of getting everything ready here," said CCF general manager Dominique Valenzuela. "We got many compliments on our grounds at the state inspection."

There will be seven or eight races each day, starting at 1 p.m. (MST). Admission each day will be $5 per person.
