On November 14, an American Quarter Horse Association employee tested positive for COVID-19 after attending the show in Oklahoma City. The individual is no longer on the fairgrounds and will not be permitted to return. AQHA followed COVID-19 protocols to sanitize all the potentially exposed areas on the grounds. In addition, contact tracing has been completed, and the individuals who were potentially exposed have been notified.
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please leave the premises immediately. As a reminder, this show is a voluntary event, and if you do not attend due to COVID-19 concerns or leave before you show, you will receive a refund, less the processing fees. It is imperative to recognize there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any setting where people are present.
COVID-19 compliance is more important now than ever to continue to safely host this year’s Farnam AQHA World Championship Show; AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan); Adequan® Level 2 Championships; Nutrena Level 1 Championships; and AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals. Adhering to local mandates is a critical element for the show to continue. Oklahoma City’s mask ordinance is in place, which requires everyone to wear face coverings.
View the event health protocols and additional COVID-19 resources. As a reminder, attendees are required to complete a COVID-19 Health Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver. By signing the waiver, attendees agree to adhere to the event health protocols, including wearing facial protection, and understand the potential risk of being exposed.
If you test positive for COVID-19 during the show, please contact show management immediately at 404-867-2058 or 614-207-3152.
We appreciate your caution and assistance with providing a safe environment to host a successful Farnam and Adequan® AQHA World.
