Fastest qualifier Chilitos, a homebred son of world champion Apollitical Jess owned by Omar and Anna Paredes, earned his first stakes win in Saturday's Grade 2, $344,050 Dash For Cash Futurity at Lone Star Park.

Ridden by Nestor Duran for trainer Adrian Huitron, Chilitos went 400 yards in :19.700 while posting a 98 speed index, and the sorrel colt's margin of victory was a neck from 3-2 favorite Trump My Record. Chilitos banked $137,620 from his third win in six outs.

Chilitos was bred in Oklahoma. The colt is out of Mary Me Anna, a winning and stakes-placed daughter of the Chicks Beduino stallion Game Patriot. Raced in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico, Chilitos has earned $194,219, and he was a finalist in the April 20 Remington Park Futurity (RG1) for Oklahoma-breds.

FM Dynasty Rock finished third, one length behind Chilitos. Jesse D, Domishay, Mr Tereso, Seis Train B, and Cash For Willie completed the order of finish.
