Facing The Fire, a bay son of Valiant Hero owned and trained by Eddie D. Willis, led at every call en route to a one-length win in Saturday's $45,000 Easy Jet Stakes (RG3) for Oklahoma-bred juveniles at Remington Park.

Ridden by Jimmy Dean Brooks, Facing The Fire covered 350 yards in :17.653. The gelding earned $26,730 from his second career stakes victory.

Facing The Fire was bred by Alona James. The gelding is out of DM Sashay N Fire, a 13-year-old daughter of Walk Thru Fire. Facing The Fire's second dam, the Sixarun mare Sashay N Six, won the 2003 Northlands Futurity (G3) at Canterbury Park in Minnesota.

Facing The Fire has won two of four starts, including the April 18, 330-yard Remington Park Juvenile Stakes (R), and he has banked $74,053.

First Lucy Lark finished second and was followed by A Political Passion, DF Fabulous Maiden, Eye Work For You, Coronados Lady Echo, Ferarri B, Stone Kaster, Class E Cartel, and Jessies Brown Eaglet.
