According to the Fair Grounds Race Course racing office, Quarter Horse Racing will resume Friday, September 13, through Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the New Orleans facility.

Thursday's race card was canceled due to inclement weather in the area from Hurricane Francine and will be run on Sunday.

The $114,390 Big Easy Futurity and the $40,000 De Saix Stakes will head Friday's race card.

On Saturday, September 14, Fair Grounds Race Course will host the second-largest race in the legendary racetrack's 134-year history: the $550,714 LQHBA Sale Futurity (RG1).

Saturday's 13 race card, featuring the LQHBA Sale Futurity (RG1), will include the $50,000 LQHA Sale Juvenile and the $50,000 LQHBA Sale Debutante.

The first post is noon (CDT) on both days.
