Sir Runaway Cash wins LQHBA Sale Futurity on full stakes card at Fair Grounds.

Sir Runaway Cash took the big prize home on a card of stellar races at the Fair Grounds in New Orleans on September 7. The Sir Runaway Dash gelding won the $428,475 Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association Sale Futurity (RG1) by a half length over race favorite Ed O. 

Ridden by John Hamilton for trainer David Bustamante, Sir Runaway Cash completed the 350-yards in :17.505 and gained $192,814 for owner Meal Ticket Racing. 

Sir Runaway Cash was bred by Tracy Smithwick, and now boasts three wins from five starts and career earnings of $230,880. Earlier in the year, he contested the Lee Berwick Futurity (RG1). He is out of the Heza Fast Dash mare MCM Premo Dash.
Mr Sixy Piloto won the $34,700 De Saix Stakes for owner Jerry Deville Jr. 

The son of Mr Piloto out of the Corona Cartel mare Sexy Silhouette was never headed in the 300-yard test, winning by a neck over Blueacrossyourmind. He was ridden by Everardo Rodriguez for trainer Vann Haywood. He has won half of his six career starts and earned $49,500.
In the $40,000 Lakeview Dash, Corona Prize rallied from the outside to win the 250-yard race under Luis Vivanco. The Fast Prize Dash filly is owned by Agapito Villanueva and trained by Miguel Rodriguez. 

She won by a neck and completed the test in :13.141 over Gunna Be Alright. She has now won four of 12 career starts and earned $70,497.

Bred by Eddie Cramer she is out of the Corona Cartel mare Corona Baby. 
Favorite Jess Adalida was speed all the way to take the $27,000 French Quarter Stakes over Mia Jet In.

The 2015 filly is by Jess Louisiana Blue and out of the First Down Dash mare Worthherweightingold. She was bred by Double Bar S Ranch, and is owned by Ruben Garcia Montemayor and was trained by Josue Ponce. She was ridden by Antonio Alberto. 

She has now earned nine wins from 17 career starts and earned $170,118.

DLJ Imma B Famous and Ricardo Hernandez Jr. dominated the $40,000 Mid City Stakes (RG2), taking the 440-yard race in :21.338 and 2 ΒΌ lengths the best of nearest rival Fabulously Black.

DLJ Imma B Famous races for owner Myron McKinnon and trainer Alberto Solis. Bred by Donald Henderson, the gelding is by Coronas Leaving You and out of the Strawflyin Buds mare Yugo Buds. He has now won five of 16 career starts and earned $121,125.
