Foal & Friends
Foal & Friends

In this program, children ages 3-5 will explore playful, horse-themed activities designed for the developmental benefit of preschoolers. From movement games that mimic how horses run and play, to hands-on crafts and stories, each session will encourage creativity, empathy, and growth. Young learners will build important development skills while discovering many ways horses continue to inspire and teach even off the saddle.
The Foals & Friends program is offered at no additional cost with regular museum admission.
Children 5 and under are always FREE! Adults pay $10 for admission.
Quarter horses are known as the most versatile breed in the world and their impact goes far beyond the racetracks, show rings, and ranches. Research shows the benefits of equine therapy and equine therapeutic riding for all ages specifically in early childhood development. Some of the benefits include:
-
Improving balance and coordination
-
Building confidence
-
Strengthening social skills and communication
-
Enhance muscle strength
-
Emphasizing core values like empathy and responsibility
We invite you to join us on the last Friday of each month at 10:00 A.M.
