Heritage Place Update
Heritage Place Update
As you might imagine we have received a number of questions regarding sales at Heritage Place for the remainder of 2020. It is likely there has never been a time of uncertainty like our industry is experiencing currently, so we felt it is important for us to let you know what our plan is at this time. We are planning for business as usual regarding our sale calendar and existing deadlines. Currently, time is on our side as our next offering of horses will be yearlings in September. Hopefully that allows the COVID-19 situation to resolve and we can all move forward.
We understand that things could change and assure you that we are going into the remainder of 2020 with that in mind. Another assurance you have from the ownership and management team at Heritage Place is a commitment to be flexible and adjust quickly to meet customers’ needs in a situation as fluid as this one. Whether it is altered sale dates, deadlines or additional options for selling horses we are committed to assist our customers and do what is best for them and our industry.
Heritage Place has provided a marketplace, like no other, to the horse business since the very first sale in the fall of 1978, 42 years ago. The current situation has us researching and even looking at other industries to see how they are assisting with customers’ needs and still providing liquidity to the industry in times like these. Our customers health & safety is top priority, but we also feel a responsibility to provide a marketplace. We do not have all of the answers or solutions in hand today or exactly what it might look like, but rest assured we will have a plan and we will look forward to successfully marketing horses for our customers.
On behalf of everyone at Heritage Place and to our many friends and customers throughout the world, we wish you the best and please know that you can count on us to be here for you. Thank you for your continued business and for allowing us to remain the place “Where Champions Are Sold”.
