Fantastic Feature Jr scores wire-to-wire win in Sunday's co-feature at Zia Park.

Fantastic Feature Jr, a son of Fantastic Corona Jr owned by Joe Rios, led at every call to win Sunday's 440-yard, $185,505 Hobbs America Derby (G3) at Zia Park.

Ridden by Jaime Leos, Fantastic Feature Jr covered his quarter-mile trip in :21.801, and his winning margin was a neck from Fyre Wall. Juan Gonzalez prepped the Oklahoma-bred gelding.

Fantastic Feature Jr was bred by A.C. Taylor. Campaigned exclusively in New Mexico, he has won three of 12 outs, and the $89,042 winner's share of the purse from his first stakes victory pushed his bankroll to $126,695, of which $106,917 has been earned his season.

Breaking New Ground finished third, a head behind Fyre Wall, and was followed by Majestic Mr Perry, New News, Badhabit Jess, First N Sassy, Pilotpointdashing, Volcom One, and Reyna Azul.
