GRC Justplainazoom wins Grade 3 feature at Zia Park.

Making just his third official start of the season, Javier M. Chavez's GRC Justplainazoom won Sunday's Grade 3, $50,000 James Isaac Hobbs Stakes at Zia Park.

GRC Justplainazoom covered 350 yards in :17.586 while racing against a reported 13-mph head wind, and his margin of victory was a neck from Tempting Love. Alejandro Medellin rode the 7-year-old Azoom gelding for trainer Jose DeHerrera.

GRc Justplainazoom was bred in Oklahoma by Donald and Lucinda Rider. He has won seven of 36 starts, and the $30,000 winner's share of the purse from his first stakes victory boosted his earnings to $301,121.

GRC Justplainazoom's resume includes a third-place finish in the 2014 Ruidoso Derby (G1).

Magnifico Dragon crossed the wire third but was disqualified and placed fourth for bothering Marcus Medallion, who was placed third. Apollitical Flying, Hawkeye, Siximoons, Boogies Special Dash, Everybuddys Talkin, and Medessy completed the order of finish.
