Fabulous Rachel, a 4-year-old One Fabulous Eagle mare campaigned by Darling Farms of Lamont, Oklahoma, earned her first graded stakes victory in Saturday's 400-yard, $119,120 Junos Request Stakes (G1) for fillies and mares at Remington Park.

Trained by Waylan Melton and aided by a reported 6-mph tail wind, Fabulous Rachel defeated A Dream To Fill by a neck in :19.350. Juan Pulido rode the sorrel mare, who earned a 103 speed index while banking the $71,730 winner's share of the purse.

"She was pretty sure she knew what she was doing," said Pulido of Fabulous Rachel. "I just let her run."

Fabulous Rachel was bred in Oklahoma by Juan A. Medina. The mare is out of Teller Baja, a 9-year-old Teller Cartel mare who won the 2016 Remington Park Futurity (RG2) for Oklahoma-breds.

Fabulous Rachel was winning for the fourth time in eight outs and pushing her earnings to $139,564. The mare's two stakes wins include last year's 350-yard, $99,000 Gillespie County Fair Derby at Fredericksburg, Texas.
