Keith Whistle, renowned pleasure horse showman, died August 3, 2021, at the age of 67.
Charles “Keith” Whistle was born in Hayti, Missouri, on June 12, 1954. Keith was the first person to be inducted into the NSBA Hall of Fame. He has won countless numbers of pleasure horse futurities, and dozens of Quarter Horse Congress championships and World Championships.
He was preceded in death by his father Rom Whistle.
He is survived by his wife, Rogalyn Whistle, of Hernando, Mississippi; his son Kyle Whistle of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; his mother Mary Whistle of Caruthersville, Missouri; and his sister, Romy Whistle of Horn Lake, Mississippi.
A private family service was held.
