Bill Price's BP Hail Mary, a homebred daughter of the Holland Ease stallion Corona Cartel, won Saturday's $75,000 Laico Bird Stakes (RG3) for Oklahoma-bred juveniles at Remington Park.

Racing on a sloppy and sealed track and aided by a reported 9-mph tail wind, BP Hail Mary covered 330 yards in :16.963, and her margin of victory was a head from Ding Dang Dulce. Jesus Rios Ayala rode the bay filly for trainer Dee Keener.

BP Hail Mary was coming off of a three-quarter length win in a 300-yard, $20,000 maiden-special-weight dash at Remington Park on March 23. The filly is out of HF Stormi Daniels, a winning daughter of champion Tempting Dash.

BP Hail Mary was winning for the second time in three races, and the $42,525 winner's share of the purse from her first stakes victory increased her career bankroll to $56,336.
