Eleazar Martinez Sr.'s Jess Pretty N Black is one of 10 state-bred 2-year-old fillies entered back in Friday's 330-yard, $291,125 Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.

The fastest qualifier, Jess Pretty N Black broke her maiden with a one-length win in the second of 12 trials on May 1. The black daughter of The Louisiana Cartel is trained by Raul Galvan.

Jess Pretty N Black was a $33,000 purchase at last year's Louisiana QHBA Yearling Sale. The filly drew post 5 and will be ridden by Rolando Cabrera.

Leading owner Rogelio Marquez Jr. qualified two Lassie Futurity finalists, including second-fastest qualifier San Lorenzo Princess. A daughter of Apollitical Blood and a $40,000 buy at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale, the sorrel filly made her debut with a convincing 1 1/2-length victory in the fifth trial.

San Lorenzo Princess drew post 10 and will be ridden by Martin Osuna for trainer Jeremy Derozin.
