La Charreria, the ancient Mexican art of horse handling, is a deeply ingrained part of the Mexican spirit. As a way of life, a historical legacy and a tradition that carries on through centuries, it is an art of competitive skills and the national sport in a country full of traditions.
Los Charros son acreditados como jinetes muy habiles quienes orgullosamente mantienen las primeras tradiciones mexicanas tal como el manejo equino y bovino sin faltar el uso del lazo. El charro compite en una charreada, que es compuesta de nueve suertes charras dentro de un lienzo charro, en comparación una charreada es equivalente al rodeo americano.
