Ten sprinters, topped by TM Ranch’s Cant Catchacorona, have been entered in Saturday’s 330-yard, $20,000 Par-A-Dice Stakes at Delta Downs.

Cant Catchacorona began his 4-year-old campaign with a head victory in a 300-yard, $14,500 non-winners-of-four allowance dash at Delta Downs on June 7. A gelded son of Coronas Leaving You trained by Kenneth Roberts Sr., Cant Catchacorona was coming off of a sophomore season during which he earned $35,491 from seven starts and was a finalist in the 400-yard, $269,000 Delta Downs Derby (RG3) at Delta Downs, and the 400-yard, $267,000 Louisiana QHBA Derby (R) at Evangeline Downs.

Cant Catchacorona drew Post 5 and will be ridden by David Alvarez.

Other contenders include Edgar Rosales’ SS Classyjess, a 3-year-old gray daughter of Rock Solid Jess trained by Jose Carrizales. SS Classyjess will be shortening in distance off of her second-place finish in the 350-yard, $25,000 Mother’s Day Stakes on May 11.

SS Classyjess drew Post 7 and will be ridden by Ricardo Hernandez Jr.
