Republic Anne, a stakes-winning 4-year-old Apollitical Jess mare racing for Jose Antonio de Santiago, is one of 11 fillies and mares entered in Saturday's 400-yard, $40,000-added Q-Racing Video Arizona Distaff Challenge Stakes at Arizona Downs.

Trained by Edwin A. Martinez, Republic Anne is coming off of a second-place finish, a neck behind winner Valentin JQM, in the July 4, 250-yard Wayne Brasher Memorial Stakes at Arizona Downs. The mare has earned $86,445 from 22 races, and her five wins include last year's 400-yard, $57,000 AQRA Turf Paradise Derby.

Republic Anne drew post 9 and will be ridden by Martin Osuna.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the October 22 Q-Racing Video Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Horseshoe Indianapolis. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments:
