The Foundation had major successes during the 2020 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City. After a year of not being able to gather with our American Quarter Horse family, the Foundation’s Ambassadors were out in full force sharing the impact of the Foundation and its programs.

The Youth Activities Scholarship was awarded for the first time at the 2020 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show in August. This scholarship is awarded to a youth member competing in their last year of youth eligibility at the Ford Youth World.

Ken Banks, Laina Banks, Kent Ray Taylor, Lorraine Luba and Norm LubaButch and Robin committed to donating $25,000 to the Youth Activities Scholarship to support the youth within our industry. The Foundation also received a generous donation from Kent Ray Taylor of KRT Quarter Horses from Arizona for $10,000. Kent showed as a youth member and has a passion for youth and supporting programs that benefit future industry leaders.

The Foundation appreciates the support of this scholarship to continue to award this in the future to more youth.
