The AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, AQHA Level 1 Cattle Championships, presented by the Four Sixes Ranch, and National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance National Championship Show are slated for June 22-27 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

The tentative schedule is now available online under Resources at www.aqha.com/versatility. Entry information will be released later in the spring.

For 2021, the AQHA Executive Committee made the decision to waive traditional qualifying requirements, due to the pandemic’s impact on qualifying events. Read more. NRSHA also made the decision to waive qualifying requirements for the 2021 NRSHA National Championships, held in conjunction with the AQHA VRH World. Exhibitors who have considered attending the show in the past now have the opportunity to do so without the need to qualify.

Exhibitors can compete in the individual VRH classes or for the all-around Versatility Ranch Horse world championship titles in nine divisions at the 2021 AQHA VRH World. AQHA will crown the junior, senior, cowboy, amateur, limited amateur, Rookie amateur, youth, limited youth and Rookie youth all-around world champions during the show. Exhibitors are also encouraged to compete for NRSHA National Championship honors across a full slate of individual classes, held concurrently with VRH classes. All-around titles will be presented to NRSHA eligible exhibitors, as well.

AQHA will still offer the $20,000 John Deere VRH Double-Qualifying Incentive, a special side pot available only to Versatility Ranch Horse competitors who qualified for the 2020 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships and who also reach the same qualifying threshold for the 2021 AQHA VRH World. The John Deere Double-Qualifying Incentive offers a total side pot of $20,000 to the highest-placing 2020 and 2021 qualifiers in each all-around division who compete at the 2021 AQHA VRH World. Rookie amateur and Rookie youth classes are not eligible for the John Deere VRH Double-Qualifying Incentive since those divisions are new in 2021.

To be eligible for the 2021 AQHA RHC Finals and $36,000 in additional added money, horses must be fully enrolled in the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge program. For more information about the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenges, visit www.aqha.com/ranching.

The Level 1 Cattle Championships will offer cutting, boxing, working cow horse, heading, heeling, tie-down roping, breakaway roping and ranch riding. Ranch riding will also be offered at all Level 1 Championships; however, exhibitors can only compete in ranch riding at one of the Level 1 Championships. To be eligible to enter, an exhibitor must be Level 1-eligible in the class they wish to enter as of the previous year, January 1, 2020. Read more about leveling at www.aqha.com/leveling.
