Beaumont, Texas, may be home to a new racetrack in the future.

The sale of Ford Park near Beaumont, Texas, has taken another step forward.
Beaumont is located east of Houston, and is approximately 100 miles from Sam Houston Race Park and approximately 50 miles from Delta Downs in Vinton, Louisiana.
The buyer is The Renaissance Group, with plans for a racetrack, restaurant and sports bar.
