Freakin Patriot Dash, an 8-year-old son of Game Patriot owned by Areli Gutierrez, is one of seven distance specialists entered in Saturday's 870-yard, $25,000 Virgil Bond Stakes at Delta Downs.

Freakin Patriot Dash brings in a two-race win streak that includes a 1 1/2-length victory in an 870-yard, $15,000 open-condition allowance race at Delta Downs on May 6. The Louisiana-bred gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Arnulfo Gutierrez for trainer Joel Huitron.

Other contenders include Sarahs Patriot, a 5-year-old Game Patriot mare trained by Phillip Calais Jr. for owner Gilbert Matthews. Sarahs Patriot has won four of 19 races and has earned $111,223, and her three wins in seven starts at the 870 distance include a 1 1/2-length victory in last year's Virgil Bond Stakes.

Sarahs Patriot drew post 5 and will be ridden by Benito Baca.
