Deja Dulce romped home much the best in the $235,750 Wyoming Downs Futurity, capturing the race by three-quarters of a length and taking home the top price of $108,445 for owners Daisy Carlson and Joe Goggins.

Ridden by Jacob Cardenas, he dueled out of the gate of the 350-yard race with You Got Litt Up before accelerating to the lead and clocking a final time of :17.431.

Eye B Popping was second, followed by Bobs Speedysaintjess, Hez Gifted, Billys Brandi, Freedum, Sharp Dressed Man 36, Dulce Kubata, You Got Litt Up and CGR Crooked Cowboy.

Jess Matt trains the horse who has now won three of six starts and earned $126,885. The gelding also contested the $245,800 Energy Downs Futurity in June, finishing fifth after a rough trip.

Deja Dulce is by red-hot freshman sire Dulce Sin Tacha, a racing champion who has already sired Jamies Sin Tacha ($356,082) and All American Futurity (G1) qualifiers Envestor and Dee Favorite Tacha. He stands at Granada Farms at Wheelock, Texas.

Bred by Flag Ranch LLC, the sorrel gelding is out of the Carters Cartel mare La Deja Blue, a half sister to world champion Blues Girl Too.
