Q-Racing Ace Martha Claussen

Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino will host a big night of racing on Saturday, November 16. Racing Ace, Martha Claussen will be onsite to offer fan education for the evening card, which gets underway at 5:40 p.m. (CST).

Claussen will join track announcer John McGary for his nightly racing preview show. They will offer their analysis of the ten-race card including the $1 million LQHBA Breeders Futurity (RG1) and the $50,000 EVD Derby. She will greet fans throughout the evening with free wagering information and will offer complimentary $2.00 betting vouchers, courtesy of the Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association. The Racing Aces now have a Twitter handle and Claussen will be posting updates and selections throughout the evening @HorseRacingAces.

"This will be my third visit to Evangeline Downs, " said Claussen, who serves as coordinator for the Q-Racing Aces. "This futurity continues to attract an exceptional group of 2-year-olds. The LQHBA and Evangeline work so well together to promote an exciting evening for horsemen and fans."

The Racing Aces is a program initiated by the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). Since 2010, the Q-Racing Aces have traveled to racetracks across the country to promote the sport, provide fan education services and create excitement for "America's Fastest Athletes".
