FQHRA and Hialeah Park intend to continue AQHA’s policy of protecting the health and welfare of the horses and riders and strictly enforcing forbidden substances rules and penalties. We are currently working with the lab and DBPR to make sure the testing levels are up to industry standards. Quarter Horse racing is a growing and popular sport in Florida and across the country and it will continue to grow and prosper as we all work together to make sure our sport and industry is safe and free of forbidden medications. Good breeding, good nutrition and good training will rule the day. Our good trainers and owners are demanding a clean and safe racing environment and we intend to do our part to provide for that request.

Thanks again for all the support each of you have given FQHRA and QH racing in Florida over the last several years. It has been a lot of work but I think most everyone agrees it has been worth it. The best is yet to come. We hope to see you in December.
