Chad Hart, owner of Hart Farms near Kaplan, Louisiana, has added two additional stallions to the farm's roster with the purchase of three-time champion Ketel Won and stakes winner Best Advise.

Ketel Won, who was named the 2007 champion aged horse and twice champion aged stallion (2007-08), won or placed in 15 of 19 career starts, earning $651,740. Trained his entire career by Paul Jones, he won The Championship at Sunland Park (G1), Zia Park Championship (G1)-twice, All American Gold Cup (G3)-twice, and Higheasterjet Handicap (G3).

He was second in The Championship at Sunland Park (G1), Lovington Handicap (G2), Mr Jet Moore Stakes (G3), Los Alamitos Invitational Championship (G1) and third in the Hobbs America Derby. Ketel Won was also a finalist in the All American Derby (G1), Rainbow Derby (G1) and Refrigerator Handicap (G1).

Bred and raced by R.D. Hubbard, the 2003 son of champion and world champion sire Stoli is out of the Grade 2-winner and multiple stakes producer Sixy Lady ($146,318), by Streakin Six. She is a half sister to Grade 1 winner Western Heart ($173,538) and Rainbow Derby (G1) winner and broodmare of the year My Dashing Lady ($168,798), dam of champions Noconi ($1,342,500) and Brenda Beautiful ($337,175), etc. His third dam is the champion mare Lady Juno ($270,313).

Ketel Won's first crop to race are 2-year-olds of 2012 and from a limited number of starters he is the sire of stakes-placed Won For The Royal SI 92 (3rd Cherry Creek Futurity-G3) and Royal Kettle (4th in the New Mexico Breeders' Futurity-RG3).

Best Advice is a Grade 3-winning son of leading sire Corona Cartel. He won or placed in 14 starts, earning $78,949. The Oklahoma Hi-Point 3-Year-Old Colt won the Kansas Derby (G3) and was second in the Heritage Place Derby (G1), Los Alamitos Stakes and third in the Lazy E Derby (RG2) and Eastex Handicap (G3).

He was also a finalist in the Sooner State Stakes (RG3) and Oklahoma Derby (G3). Bred by AQHA Hall of Fame member Walter Merrick, he was raced by Gene Cox and trained by Donnie Strickland.

Best Advice is out of the stakes-placed Bully Bullion mare Sweet Advice, dam of six ROM from six to race. She has also produced Tricky Advice SI 111 ($38,757), etc. The second dam is the stakes winning Easy Jet mare Sweet Illusion SI 106 ($62,724), dam of 3 ROM from 3 to race.

From one crop to race, Best Advice is the sire of 100% winners from six starters. They include Aint Eye Corona SI 96 ($23,777), Zevis Best Advice SI 94 ($19,570), Toast The Best SI 99 ($14,495),etc.
